The Honda CBR250RA, also known as the Honda CBR250R ABS, is a sports motorcycle manufactured by Honda in 2010. This model was equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), providing an additional safety feature that was well-received by both novice and experienced riders. The bike featured a diamond-shaped twin-spar steel frame, which contributed to its impressive handling capabilities. On the front end, it had a 37 mm telescopic fork and a Pro-Link single-shock absorber on the rear, ensuring a comfortable ride.
In terms of braking performance, the Honda CBR250RA came with a 296 mm disc with a dual-piston caliper on the front wheel and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear wheel. These components, combined with the ABS system, offered optimal stopping power and enhanced safety for the rider.
Powering the 2010 Honda CBR250RA was a 249cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine featuring fuel injection technology. This engine delivered 24 horsepower at 9,900 rpm and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) of torque at 6,750 rpm, providing sufficient power for both city commuting and occasional highway rides.
The design of the Honda CBR250RA was not only stylish but also functional. The bodywork was crafted to enhance aerodynamics, routing airflow for engine cooling and rider comfort while maintaining a unique sports bike aesthetic. Additionally, the bike featured practical elements such as a low seat height for easier ground reach, accommodations for two-up riding with a separate passenger seat and grab rail, standard passenger footpegs, and an under-seat storage compartment.
The instrument panel of the Honda CBR250RA was digital and multifunctional, providing essential information to the rider. With a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters, this motorcycle offered a range of over 320 km (199 miles), making it suitable for longer rides without frequent refueling stops.
